According to Wedbush, the investment bank on Thursday released a research report backing NVIDIA's self-developed Vera data center CPU, saying the 88-core Olympus processor with 176 threads outperforms Intel and AMD's traditional x86 server chips in performance and energy efficiency. The chip, unveiled at GTC 2026, features significantly higher memory bandwidth than conventional x86 CPUs and can work in deep coordination with NVIDIA's Blackwell GPU series for AI agent inference applications.
