Wendy's Stock Surges 25% on Wednesday as Reddit Traders Push WEN Rally

According to Reddit users on r/WallStreetBets, Wendy's stock (WEN) surged more than 25% on Wednesday, rising from $6.08 to $7.86 per share as retail investors coordinated a "save Wendy's" campaign on the forum. Trading volume exploded to 203 million shares, a 1,970% increase from the stock's typical daily average of less than 10 million shares, according to Yahoo Finance data.

Despite the rally, WEN remains down 66% over the last five years. Meanwhile, a Wendy's-themed meme coin (WEN) launched on Pump.fun surged 1,450% in 24 hours to reach a $439,000 market cap on Solana, though the token is unaffiliated with The Wendy's Company.
