WTI Crude Futures Fall 3.10% to $82.25 as Trump Announces U.S.-Iran Peace Deal

According to Guru Club, on Monday early Asia-Pacific trading (June 15), WTI crude futures fell 3.10% to $82.25 per barrel. The decline came as U.S. President Trump announced on social media that a formal peace agreement with Iran had been reached and the Strait of Hormuz was now open.

Meanwhile, U.S. equity index futures posted gains: the Dow Jones futures rose 0.60%, the S&P 500 futures advanced 0.72%, and the Nasdaq-100 futures climbed 1.08%.
