According to Beating monitor, Xiaomi EV announced the Xiaomi EV World Model (JointWM architecture), integrating 3D reconstruction and video generation modules for autonomous driving simulation. The framework anchors scenes using 3D geometry as a physical backbone, while generation modules complete visual details and predict unobserved regions. The system achieved 28.48 PSNR on Waymo reconstruction precision tests and maintained leading performance in nuScenes zero-shot generalization. Generation speed reaches 0.19 seconds for single-view and 0.46 seconds for triple-view processing, supporting up to 1-minute video generation—5.6 times faster than autoregressive baseline Epona. The solution has been deployed across three scenarios: training perception models with over 100,000 synthetic data segments, building high-fidelity closed-loop simulation for edge cases, and powering an in-app driving guide with generative video instructions.
