Zelle Launches ZelleUSD Stablecoin, Enters Indian Market by Year-End

According to Foresight News, Zelle announced its entry into the Indian market, with U.S. users able to send remittances to friends and family in India by year-end. The announcement was made by Early Warning Services LLC, the network operator of the U.S. payment network.

The company also introduced ZelleUSD, a U.S. dollar-denominated stablecoin, to expand its cross-border payment capabilities. ZLUSD will support international payment functionality in additional markets going forward.
