U.S. President Donald Trump announced on the 11th Eastern US time that the United States has "ended" its war with Iran after both sides agreed to a "very strong memorandum of understanding" to cease hostilities. According to Odaily, Trump made this statement during a phone call supporting the campaign for Georgia Governor Lieutenant Governor Birt Jones.

Trump stated that Iran agreed not to possess nuclear weapons, describing this point as the US position and main goal, claiming it constitutes "95%" of the agreement.
Comments came after Trump canceled further strikes on Iran on the same day. He also suggested on the Truth Social platform that an agreement was reached but did not provide details on the terms.
Iran has not confirmed that any agreement has been reached.
