$XAU played out cleanly after the previous short trade caught the full $500 drop. Price bounced from the $4,000 support zone as expected, which shows buyers are still defending that key level for now.
But this bounce does not automatically mean the trend has turned bullish. The bigger structure still looks weak, especially while price remains below the resistance area. The next important zone is where sellers may start becoming active again.
