Just saw that Naguib Sawiris just took the top spot as the richest man in Egypt, hitting around 9.2 billion dollars. His brother Nassef held that position for years, but apparently Naguib's wealth jumped by 2.3 billion since the start of the year while Nassef's only grew by 413 million. Pretty wild how fast things shift in the billionaire rankings. Last week alone Naguib added 42 million while Nassef actually lost about 47 million. The wealth gap between these two keeps changing every week lol. Never thought I'd be tracking Egyptian billionaires like this but the numbers are actually interesting to watch.
