AI Companies Attract 87% of VC Funding in 2026, Raise $380B Across Three Channels

According to Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, AI-related companies have attracted approximately $220 billion in venture capital funding year-to-date in 2026, representing 87% of all VC investments.

In addition, these companies issued roughly $140 billion in investment-grade bonds (49% of total issuance) and $21 billion in high-yield bonds (38% of total issuance). Combined, AI companies have raised about $380 billion across the three channels, accounting for approximately 64% of all capital flows.
