AMD Surpasses $900B Market Cap for First Time as Ryzen AI Halo Challenges Nvidia's DGX Spark

According to Stocktwits, AMD surpassed $900 billion in market capitalization for the first time on Monday as the company launched Ryzen AI Halo, a new developer platform undercutting Nvidia's DGX Spark by $700. The Ryzen AI Halo, priced at $3,999, is powered by the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and features 128GB of unified memory, supporting Windows 11 and allowing users to run large AI models locally on a computer roughly the size of Apple's Mac mini.

AMD's platform supports up to 200 billion parameter AI models locally, matching Nvidia DGX Spark's stated capability, while offering up to 14% better performance in tokens per second. Unlike Nvidia's DGX Spark, which supports Linux only, Ryzen AI Halo supports both Windows 11 and Linux, providing greater flexibility to developers.
