Analyst Kuo: Foldable iPhone May Face Delayed Sales to Q4 2026, Supply Constraints Through Year-End

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from Tian Feng International Securities, a foldable iPhone may repeat the iPhone X scenario on July 5: launching alongside other models but with delayed preorder and sales dates, and supply shortages potentially lasting through end-2026. Based on third-quarter inventory levels, the foldable iPhone could begin preorders in Q4 2026, similar to how iPhone X delayed sales from November 3, 2017. Kuo estimates demand could extend through year-end, with presale wait times potentially reaching 4-6 weeks or longer. The device is priced at approximately $2,300-$2,500.
