Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.7 Achieves 10x Speed Boost in Robot Tasks, Project Fetch Phase 2 Results Released

According to Anthropic, Claude Opus 4.7 achieved a 10-fold speed improvement in robot operation tasks during Project Fetch Phase 2 experiments conducted in August 2025. Non-robotics specialists at Anthropic used commercially available quadruped robots to complete complex tasks, comparing performance with the AI model versus relying solely on human expertise and internet resources. Results showed Claude Opus 4.7 in full autonomous mode outperformed human teams across all completed tasks, significantly exceeding expected performance benchmarks.
