According to PANews, BBVA announced on June 13 a strategic partnership with OpenAI to integrate artificial intelligence across customer service, business operations, software development, and employee workflows. The Spanish banking group aims to transform into an AI-native operating model, redesigning customer experience, commercial banking services, risk management, operational efficiency, and employee productivity.
BBVA employees have created over 20,000 custom GPTs internally, with approximately 4,000 being used frequently across legal, risk management, customer service, finance, and marketing functions.
