According to Guru Club, on July 23, Iran-backed Houthi forces claimed to have attacked two Saudi Arabian oil tankers in the Red Sea, escalating Middle East tensions and threatening regional supply disruptions. Brent crude futures approached the $100 per barrel mark amid the incident. The assault opens a new front in the regional conflict, as Saudi exports via the Red Sea have become a critical alternative route since Persian Gulf supply tightened. Oil prices have risen more than 30% this month due to the escalating turmoil.
