According to China’s Defense Ministry spokesman Jiang Bin on May 18, Chinese and U.S. leaders reached a consensus on building a “China-U.S. constructive strategic stable relationship” during their recent talks. The defense ministry expressed willingness to work with the United States to implement the consensus, strengthen communication, manage differences, and advance military relations along a stable and positive trajectory.
