According to Jin10, on June 22, China's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Guo Jiakun responded to Japanese military records discovered from a 1940 medical conference documenting blood transfusion experiments conducted by invading Japanese forces on prisoners in 1938. Guo stated that these historical atrocities would be "forever inscribed on the pillar of shame in human history," and criticized Japan's remilitarization as "a step backward and a dead end." She urged Japan to genuinely reflect on its wartime atrocities and completely sever ties with militarism.
