According to CCTV, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun stated on May 12 that China-U.S. economic and trade relations are fundamentally based on mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. He called on both sides to implement the important consensus reached by the two countries’ leaders to inject greater stability into bilateral economic cooperation and the global economy.
