According to China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), China's largest onshore shallow-formation oilfield group, Kenli 10-2, commenced full production today (May 27) with daily crude output exceeding 2,800 tonnes. Located in the southern Bohai Sea with average water depth of approximately 20 meters, the oilfield has proven geological reserves exceeding 100 million tonnes, providing crucial support for sustained production at the Bohai Oilfield, China's largest crude oil production base.
