China's NDRC Convenes Meeting to Deploy Peak Summer Energy Supply on May 28

According to Guru Club, on May 28, China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) convened a video conference to arrange deployment of nationwide energy supply work for the peak summer season. The meeting required fully securing energy production and supply of coal and natural gas, strengthening coal-to-power transportation, and meeting peak power generation demand. The NDRC also called for continued fulfillment of medium and long-term power, coal, and natural gas contracts, enhanced management of power equipment maintenance, and optimized power dispatch to maximize output from all energy sources.
