Gate News message, April 24 — CoW Swap has deployed two solver infrastructure upgrades to enhance bidding mechanisms and optimize execution processes, according to CoW DAO.
The first upgrade, “hidden bids until deadline,” prevents solvers from seeing each other’s quotes during auctions, requiring blind bidding until the deadline. This mechanism preserves bidding strategy independence and improves settlement outcomes for users.
The second upgrade removes the UCP (Uniform Clearing Price) constraint, which the team determined added systemic limitations without providing additional user benefits. Removing this constraint simplifies solver logic and allows optimal solutions to compete more efficiently while maintaining price consistency across users trading the same pair.
