Cyera Acquires Israeli Endpoint Data Protection Startup Genie Security for $50 Million

According to Calcalist, Israeli cybersecurity firm Cyera has acquired endpoint data protection startup Genie Security for approximately US$50 million, about five months after Genie's founding. Genie's software detects sensitive data leakage attempts from employee devices, including through generative AI tools. The acquisition marks at least Cyera's fifth recent deal and expands the firm's data security platform beyond cloud and SaaS environments into endpoint telemetry.
