According to Foresight News, DeFi protocol Fluid identified and controlled a vulnerability in its off-chain Merkle reward distribution infrastructure on June 1. The core protocol and smart contracts were unaffected, and user funds remain secure.

The impacted contract is not part of the core protocol infrastructure and is used solely for reward distribution with minimal balance. Fluid's team is investigating the incident and will release a detailed post-mortem report.
