According to the Ethereum Foundation, applications for Ethereum Protocol Fellowship Cohort 7 (EPF7) are now open with a deadline of May 13. The program aims to develop engineers capable of contributing to Ethereum’s core protocol development, focusing on areas including client implementation, protocol specification, testing, and research.
EPF7 will adopt a “small-scale, high-density” model to reduce participant numbers and increase mentor guidance depth and project quality. Selected participants will receive guidance from Ethereum core developers, with some receiving monthly funding to focus on protocol development. The program runs from June to November. An online information session will be held on May 6 at 15:00 UTC to discuss project details.
