Hungary Allows Public Sector Employees to Work From Home Starting June 29 Amid Heat Wave

According to Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán via CCTV, on June 28, the government allowed public sector employees to work from home starting June 29 amid extreme heat sweeping across Europe. The government also recommended postponing outdoor work to protect workers from the record-breaking temperatures.

The heat wave is gradually spreading from Western Europe toward Central, Northern, and Eastern Europe, with multiple countries recording temperatures that break local records.
