ICE Cotton Futures Fall 0.2% to 77.69 Cents on July 2 Amid Weak Export Sales

According to Jin10 Futures, ICE December cotton futures fell 0.2% to 77.69 cents per pound on July 2, with trading range between 77.05 and 77.87 cents. The U.S. Department of Agriculture weekly export sales report showed net sales of 49,000 bales for the current market year and 44,100 bales for the next market year, signaling weak export demand.

The USDA's latest acreage and quarterly stocks report indicated 2026 U.S. cotton plantings at 9.85 million acres, exceeding analyst expectations of 9.636 million acres.
