Intercontinental Exchange and OKX Establish 50-50 Joint Venture for Tokenized Equities, Co-Chaired by Former Gov. Cuomo

According to a BusinessWire announcement on Monday, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and OKX established a 50-50 joint venture to develop next-generation infrastructure for tokenized and digitally native financial products. The joint venture, which is subject to regulatory approval, will be co-chaired by ICE and former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and will operate as a U.S.-registered broker-dealer and Futures Commission Merchant.

The venture will enable OKX customers in the U.S. and internationally to access ICE futures and New York Stock Exchange tokenized equities markets, while also exploring additional regulatory-compliant blockchain-enabled opportunities.
