Iran Denies IAEA Inspectors Access to Damaged Nuclear Facilities, Restricts Visits to Two Sites

According to Jin10, on July 1, Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Kalibaf denied claims that inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would be allowed to enter damaged nuclear facilities. Kalibaf stated that Iran's parliament has passed a law, approved by the Supreme National Security Council, prohibiting access to destroyed or damaged nuclear sites. The IAEA is restricted to inspecting only two locations: Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant and Tehran Research Reactor.
