Iran Will Respond to Any Breach of U.S.-Iran Memorandum, Defense Official States

According to Iran's Acting Defense Minister Ebrahim Resa, in a call with Turkey's Defense Minister, Iran will respond to any violation of the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding. Resa stated that Iran accepted the ceasefire arrangement to help restore regional stability and to support friendly neighboring countries. Iran's armed forces remain on high alert and will address any breach of the agreement. Resa emphasized that the presence of foreign military forces in the region fails to create security and only increases distrust and instability.
