Iran's Foreign Ministry Emphasizes Unfreezing Assets Is Legal Right, Not U.S. Favor on May 11

GateNews

According to state news sources, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei stated on May 11 that the core contradiction in Iran-U.S. negotiations centers on differing views regarding fundamental rights. Baghaei emphasized that unfreezing Iran’s frozen assets is not a concession from the United States but rather Iran’s legitimate legal right. He also noted that ending the so-called maritime blockade against Iran is not a favor from the U.S. side. Baghaei stressed that Iran remains focused on protecting national interests and will take all necessary and appropriate measures to safeguard them.
