KB Securities Cuts Doosan Enerbility Target Price to 140,000 Won on U.S. Nuclear Order Delays

According to KB Securities on July 23, the firm cuts Doosan Enerbility's (034020) target price to 140,000 won, down 10.3% from previous guidance, citing delays in U.S. new nuclear equipment orders now expected to shift from 2026 to 2027. Analyst Jung Hye-jung noted that expanded government involvement in U.S. nuclear financing—including a June announcement by the U.S. Department of Energy offering up to $17.5 billion in conditional loans—should enable material orders from 2027 onward. KB Securities maintains a 'Buy' rating, expecting gas turbine demand to support near-term results until U.S. nuclear procurement accelerates.
