KOSPI Triggers Circuit Breaker Today, Down 8.02%, 8th Halt This Year

According to the Korea Exchange, South Korea's KOSPI index triggered a circuit breaker this morning on July 28, falling 542.24 points or 8.02%. The halt marked the index's eighth circuit breaker trigger this year and the 14th in history.
