Meta Secures 1.6 Gigawatts of AI Computing Capacity from Crusoe Energy

According to Bloomberg, Meta has secured 1.6 gigawatts of AI computing capacity from infrastructure provider Crusoe Energy. The company will procure the capacity from two Crusoe data centers: one in Childress, Texas, and another in Warrenton, Missouri. To put the scale in perspective, 1 gigawatt can power approximately 750,000 U.S. households simultaneously. The financial terms and delivery timeline remain undisclosed, with both Meta and Crusoe declining to comment on specific details.
