Micro-Dramas' Premium Quality Becoming Industry Consensus, Says Chinese Regulator on July 2

According to Jin10, on July 2, China's National Radio and Television Administration stated that micro-drama works have recently demonstrated richer themes, elevated concepts, mature storytelling, and distinct characteristics. The regulator indicated that premium quality creation in micro-dramas is becoming both industry consensus and conscious action among producers, as affirmed by Wang Xiaoliang, director of the administration's online division, at the 2026 Premium Micro-Drama Summer Evaluation Conference held in Beijing.
