According to Daily NK reporting on Thursday, North Korean authorities have arrested a group of former state cyber operators and IT specialists accused of hacking the internal networks of the country's central bank and Foreign Trade Bank. The group allegedly converted stolen state funds into cryptocurrency and laundered them through China-based brokers, the outlet reported, citing an anonymous Pyongyang source. Cointelegraph could not independently verify the claims.
