Odyssey Raises $310M Series B at $1.45B Valuation on June 17, Amazon Joins Round

According to Odyssey, the US-based AI startup building world models that simulate real-world environments raised $310 million in a Series B round on June 17 at a $1.45 billion valuation. Natural Capital led the round, with Amazon, GV, AMD Ventures, EQT, and IQT participating. Existing investors include Jeff Dean, Elad Gil, Qasar Younis, Kyle Vogt, and Garry Tan. Odyssey was founded in 2023 by CEO Oliver Cameron and CTO Jeff Hawke. Amazon Web Services will become the company's preferred cloud provider, and Odyssey will work with Amazon's Annapurna Labs to optimize its models on AWS Trainium chips.
