RetoSwap Halts Trading, Upgrades to Client Version 2.0 After Haveno Protocol Attack Today

According to RetoSwap's announcement on X, the protocol reported an attack on the Haveno trading system at 2:02 AM Beijing time today (June 17). RetoSwap immediately set the minimum client version to 2.0 through a filter function, suspended trading, and blocked the attacker's onion address. The team confirmed it was not directly compromised; the vulnerability exists at the Haveno protocol layer. Losses appear limited to large-value crypto asset listings, with fiat traders unaffected. RetoSwap is evaluating recovery options for impacted traders. Trading will resume once the protocol is patched.
