Revolut to Delist USDT on July 30, Citing MiCA Non-Compliance

According to BlockBeats, Revolut announced on July 4 that it will delist USDT due to non-compliance with the European Union's MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulation. Users can continue purchasing USDT until July 6, after which the platform will stop accepting new USDT deposits on July 30. Users may sell USDT or withdraw to external wallets until August 31, when Revolut will convert any remaining USDT balances to fiat currency at the prevailing exchange rate.

The delisting follows the full enforcement of MiCA in July 2026. Tether, the issuer of USDT, has not obtained full MiCA certification, rendering USDT non-compliant under EU standards for stablecoin issuers.
