At XRP Las Vegas conference, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse addressed community concerns about the company’s commitment to XRP, reaffirming that Ripple remains the largest XRP holder and is focused on making XRP the most useful, liquid, and trusted digital asset. Garlinghouse pushed back on doubts about Ripple’s dedication, stating, “We are the most interested party in seeing XRP be successful.”
On concerns that Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin could replace XRP, Garlinghouse acknowledged the perception but rejected the conclusion, emphasizing that all company initiatives serve the goal of expanding liquidity, utility, and trust in XRP. He also noted that Ripple currently employs 1,300 people and is experiencing record performance across multiple metrics.
