According to Ripple's latest data released on July 24, RLUSD monthly transfer volume fell 25% to approximately $10.95 billion, even as the number of token holders increased 6% and active addresses jumped 70%. The decline occurred alongside two significant infrastructure launches: Ripple Mint, a platform enabling institutions to automate RLUSD minting, redemption, and settlement operations, and a strategic investment in compliance firm Notabene.
Ripple's investment integrates RLUSD into Notabene's network, which spans more than 2,300 institutions across over 100 jurisdictions and handles compliance requirements including Travel Rule verification. Meanwhile, RLUSD expanded multichain access to more than 40 blockchain networks via the Wormhole Native Token Transfers framework, beyond its original XRP Ledger and Ethereum deployments. Ripple's reserve page shows $1.51 billion in circulating RLUSD backed by $1.62 billion in reserves under a New York Department of Financial Services trust charter.
