RMZ Group to Expand Data Center Capacity to 2-3 GW With $35B Investment Over Five Years

According to Reuters, India-based RMZ Group plans to expand its data center capacity to 2-3 gigawatts over the next five years as part of a $35 billion investment program, announced today (June 19). The Bangalore-headquartered firm currently operates 250 megawatts of capacity. RMZ Infrastructure President Deepak Chhabria said the company is in final-stage negotiations on three data center projects that will push total capacity above 1 gigawatt upon completion. The company also plans to acquire land by year-end to support approximately 2 gigawatts of additional data center capacity.
