South Korea Exports Hit Record $62B on 60% YoY Surge in June, Driven by Semiconductor Shipments

According to Korea Customs Service data released on June 22, South Korea's exports hit a record $62 billion in the first 20 days of June, up 60.4% year-on-year. Semiconductor exports nearly tripled to $25.5 billion, accounting for 41.2% of total shipments. Imports rose 23.2% to $44.5 billion, resulting in a $17 billion trade surplus.
