South Korean Banks and Fintech Giants Form Stablecoin Alliances; Hana Bank Invests 1 Trillion Won in Dunamu

According to Yonhapnews, South Korean financial institutions are accelerating stablecoin partnerships despite pending legislation. KB Kookmin Bank plans collaboration with Toss for issuance and distribution, while Shinhan Financial continues cooperation with Samsung Financial. Woori Bank and NH Nonghyup Financial are accepting partnership proposals from Kakao, and Hana Bank has invested 1 trillion Korean won in Dunamu to jointly develop stablecoin infrastructure with Naver.
