SpaceX IPO Begins Trading at $135 per Share, Valuing Company at $1.77 Trillion

On June 12, SpaceX began trading on Nasdaq under ticker SPCX at $135 per share, achieving a $1.77 trillion valuation in the largest IPO in history. According to company filings, SpaceX sold 555.6 million shares, raising $75 billion from investors and far exceeding previous records including Saudi Aramco's $30 billion offering in 2019 and Alibaba's $22 billion IPO in 2014.

Recent filings also confirmed SpaceX holds 18,712 Bitcoin, worth approximately $1.2 billion at current prices. While modest relative to the company's overall assets, the Bitcoin holdings have drawn attention from both traditional and crypto investors.
