Spanish Cruise Passenger Tests Positive for Hantavirus on May 10, 1 of 14 Evacuees

According to Spain’s Prime Minister’s Office, one of 14 Spanish passengers evacuated from the Hondieres cruise ship on May 10 tested positive for hantavirus upon arrival. The person, who is currently in isolation at a Madrid hospital, is asymptomatic and in good condition. The remaining 13 evacuees tested negative.
