Thailand's Richest Man to Invest $4.3B in Data Centers and AI Infrastructure Over 5 Years

According to Bloomberg, Sarath Ratanavadi, Thailand's richest man, plans to invest up to 140 billion baht (US$4.3 billion) through Gulf Development over the next five years to expand data centers and infrastructure for AI and cloud services. The company aims to increase data center capacity to as much as 2,000 megawatts from about 200 megawatts currently operated with partners.
