Third Iran-Linked Oil Tanker Breaks U.S. Blockade With 1 Million Barrels Crude, Heads to Singapore

According to Bloomberg, the Iranian-linked oil tanker 'Sonia I', a Suezmax vessel carrying approximately 1 million barrels of crude oil, broke through U.S. naval blockade lines yesterday evening while departing from Chabahar Port near the Iran-Pakistan border. Ship draft data confirms the vessel is fully loaded and currently heading toward Singapore, a common waypoint for oil shipments destined for Asian markets. This is the third such tanker to breach the blockade amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations expected to grant Iran immediate oil export rights upon taking effect.
