According to Sonic Labs, the company announced that Michael Kong, Andre Cronje, and David Richardson are stepping down from its board of directors. The three will retain their Sonic investments and fully transition responsibilities, but will no longer participate in business decisions. Matt Visser has been appointed CEO and Kosta Kourkoumelis as COO.
Sonic Labs stated that the new leadership's first priority is operational discipline and rebuilding trust, rather than issuing immediate roadmaps. Visser said: "I'm not here to promise overnight change. I will make Sonic 1% better every day and let it compound." The company aims to treat the next 100 days as a fresh start, focusing on incremental daily improvements while the token price and community sentiment remain depressed.
