According to the Ministry of Water Resources, three medium-sized rivers across Jiangxi and Chongqing experienced floods exceeding warning levels from yesterday through May 23, with the maximum overage reaching 0.73 meters. The rivers affected are Yifenghe (tributary of Ganjiang), Wuningshui (tributary of Xiushui) in Jiangxi, and Yaxihe (tributary in the Three Gorges region) in Chongqing. Most rivers have peaked and are now receding.
