Gate News message, April 22 — International oil prices extended gains today, with WTI crude futures (U.S. benchmark crude oil) rising 4% to $93.206 per barrel and Brent crude futures (international benchmark crude oil) climbing 3.51% to $101.941 per barrel.

The move follows U.S. President Trump’s remarks suggesting possible U.S.-Iran negotiations on April 24. However, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency disputed the claim, stating that Trump “lied again” and that Iran has not yet decided whether to participate in talks on that date.
