TTM Acquires Two European PCB Manufacturers to Expand Medical and Defense Markets

According to Uanalyze, TTM Technologies (TTMI-US) announced on June 18 that it will acquire two European PCB manufacturers—Swiss Technology Group AG (STG) and Germany-based ILFA GmbH—in an all-cash transaction expected to close in Q3 2026, pending regulatory approval. This marks TTM's first operational foothold in Europe, aimed at expanding its presence in medical, aerospace, and defense markets while strengthening its advanced PCB and microelectronics capabilities.

STG, formed by GS Swiss and Hofstetter Group in 2023, specializes in miniaturized circuits and interconnect solutions for medical applications including surgical robots, hearing aids, and medical imaging equipment. ILFA, established 45 years ago, serves aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical sectors with PCB manufacturing, CAD design services, and specialized processes such as electro-optical PCBs and embedded components.
